A specification sheet exists so that one document, not a website and not an email thread, is the thing a buyer forwards to their compliance team, their forwarder and their retailer. This page describes what the Ulstraw sheet contains, how to read its version number, and how to obtain the current issue.

What the sheet contains

The sheet is not a brochure and carries no marketing claim. Every line in it is a figure already published on this site, restated in a format a buyer can attach to a purchase order.

Why the figures match the product pages

A specification sheet that drifts from the website is worse than no sheet, because two documents in circulation disagree and the buyer discovers it at customs or at a retailer’s quality gate. The rule here is simple: the product pages are the source, and the sheet restates them. If the two ever disagree, the sheet is wrong and is reissued.

That is also why the sheet carries a version number and an issue date. Quote both when you refer to it, so that everyone in a thread is arguing about the same revision.

What is not in the sheet

Three things a buyer might expect are deliberately absent, and each has a reason worth stating plainly.

• Test results. No burn-time, moisture or odour result appears, because the test protocol is not fixed yet. The burn window in the sheet is labelled as a manufacturer statement, exactly as it is on the product pages.
• Standard numbers and certificates. None is cited until it has been verified for the destination market in question. Market compliance and labelling confirmation is issued per market, on request.
• Prices. The English pages publish no price. Pricing is quoted per programme against a brief, at an agreed Incoterm.

How to request the current issue

The sheet is issued by email today rather than as an open download. Ask for it in your brief and include three things, which is what turns a document request into a quotation: the destination market, the pack count and format you intend to list, and the volume you expect in the first twelve months.
