These cubes are easy to separate and ignite. They burn for about 5-10 minutes each which is plenty of time to get a larger fire going or to get coals started on the grill. Right out the box, they stink a bit, like a moist basement or something musty along those lines. It’s not a problem, considering they’re eco firestarters made from Vietnamese straw. All in all, I’m satisfied and would recommend the product for sure.

Little pressed bricks of straw and wax…perfect to get our backyard campfires started. Works quite well. I build a little teepee of twigs with a slightly larger teepee of logs around it and slide one of these in the bottom. They light up easily and burn plenty long enough to get everything else going.
